A jurassic-era salt mined from deep in the Himalayan Mountains, salt blocks can be heated in the oven for use as a cooking surface, or chilled in the freezer for use as a serving tray. The miracle is how the right amount of the right salt can heighten the flavor of food without changing the character, making ingredients communicate more truthfully and passionately.
