Join us in a collaborative event with our resident artist, Rachel, creating journals right here in the Verdello kitchen. We present a fun activity of Journal Making. Each guest will get 2 glasses of wine from our on tap selections to enjoy during class. Plus, guests will enjoy Verdello charcuterie selections.
In this class, artist Rachel Ruleaux will guide you through each step to create your very own field journal from start to finish. With a foe leather wrap cover, this book lends itself to travel and is great for at home use or writing and sketching on any adventure, from the coffee shop to the forest. You will learn and execute a long stitch bookbinding technique, perfect for soft cover books that are versatile and with your new skill set you will easily be able to recreate this project in its many variations on your own.
