Asian Noodle Series – April and May Classes

Take a tour with Chef Heather and learn how to prepare different noodle dishes from various areas in Asia! Noodles are an essential ingredient and staple in Asian cuisine.  The noodles vary widely according to the region of production, ingredients, and shape or width, and manner of production. These Asian-inspired favorites introduce spices, sauces and broth that will transport you to a different cultural experience! Whether it’s a night to look forward to with special friends or family, we are encouraging you to make it a monthly date! Menu Dates and Theme:

  • Thursday April 8th: Japanese Udon Noodle Soup w/ Beef

Does the cold weather have you craving for a steamy bowl of hot noodle soup?   The Beef Udon, my-go-to Japanese comfort dish is absolutely heart-warming.  Tender sliced beef on top of slippery warm udon noodles in a savory broth.   What’s not to love?  The best part of this experience is how easy it is to make at home next time you have the craving.

  • Thursday May 13th: Thai Peanut Sesame Noodles

This Asian favorite combines creamy peanut butter, soy sauce, sesame oil, noodles tossed in an amazingly sweet and savory sauce.   You will want to make this recipe over and over!   It is light, fresh and has so much flavor!    Why?  Because noodles make pretty much anything better in our opinion!  We will serve these noodles with Thai cucumber salad for an authentic and satisfying meal.
